If you have somehow been lucky enough to avoid scrutiny by your local cashiers and fellow shoppers and have not been stared at, glared at, or asked if you are "one of those extreme couponers- like on the show?"- count yourself blessed beyond belief. For the rest of us, since the Extreme Couponing show started on TLC, life as a couponer has gotten a LOT harder. Not only do I refuse to watch the show, but I have actively blocked TLC so that we cannot even accidentally watch that channel any longer. I encourage you all to do the same. Watching this show will teach you nothing but how to scam and steal. Yes, STEAL. That is what using coupons fraudulently amounts to. Here is a very well written article by Jill Caltado from this past week highlighting her latest quest to show that EC is committing fraud. Un-freaking-believable!!
