Fry's Updated Coupon Policy!

Not anything new, really, just some clarifications.

Hi friends,

UPDATE: Due to feedback we’ve received since posting this update, we would like to clarify our policy on rain checks and item availability.

Coupon use is subject to availability. No rain check or substitutions are given for out-of stock manufacturer coupon items.
You are welcome to use coupons on items that we carry in our stores, but we do not give rain checks for an item unless it is pictured in our weekly ad. A manufacturer coupon CAN be used for an item for which you have requested a rain check.

If the item you wish to purchase is out of stock and advertised in our weekly ad, you can request a rain check at checkout or the customer service desk. If you have a manufacturer coupon for that item, you can use it with the rain check when the item is back in stock.

We wanted to remind you that as of July 31, 2011, Competitor Coupons are no longer accepted, but we ARE still making All Manufacturer Coupons Worth Up To $1. Here are a few guidelines and frequently asked questions we hope will help provide some clarity around the updated promotion. In addition, we've updated our FAQ tab and Coupon Policy tab to reflect the changes.

As always, please feel free to ask a member of the store management team if you have any questions or reach out to us here on the Facebook wall during business hours, Monday through Friday.

All Manufacturer Coupons Are Worth Up To $1.00!

  • During this “Limited Time” promotion we will make all paper manufacturer coupons up to $1.00, even those that state “Do Not Double” or “Not Subject to Doubling.”
    • Digital coupons downloaded onto a shopper’s V.I.P card are not subject to doubling
    • A digital coupon and paper coupon cannot be combined on the same item; a digital coupon will redeem automatically before a paper coupon.
  • Limit one manufacturer and one Fry’s Food store coupon per item.
  • Coupons Under $1: We will make up to three of the same coupon for like items up to $1.00. Any additional coupons for the same items will be redeemed at face value (no limit).
  • We accept Catalina Manufacturer Checkout coupons
    • Catalina print must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on it with valid remit address and instructions to the retailer for redemption.
    • We will accept Catalina Manufacturer Checkout coupons with logos from other retailers as long as it is clearly a manufacturer coupon.

General Coupon Guidelines

  • Coupons over $1 or FREE are redeemed at face value
  • A manufacturer coupon value may exceed the cost of the item if that overage is applied to other items in the same transaction. A coupon overage may not be used to get cash back at the end of an order.
  • Fry’s or Kroger Family Store coupons are always taken at face value
  • Alcohol, Tobacco and Pharmacy coupons are accepted at face value only
  • Coupon use is subject to availability. No rain check or substitutions are given for out-of stock manufacturer coupon items.
  • Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes.
  • Coupons are void if reproduced or photocopied.
    • Print at Home (PAH) internet coupons may be printed in black & white
  • All limits and restrictions apply.
  • Fry’s reserves the right to limit the number of items purchased in order to make sure that product is available for all customers

Fry’s DOES NOT accept the following types of coupons:

  • FREE Internet Coupons without a required purchase
  • Competitor coupons (Except Pharmacy prescription transfer coupons)
  • Coupons identified by the Manufacturer as fraudulent
